What I’m Listening To This Bank Holiday

What I’m Listening To This Bank Holiday

Since the weather looks like it’s going to be very miserable this Bank Holiday, I thought I’d share with you What I’m Listening To  this weekend to keep me feeling in a holiday mood! There’s nothing better on a usual May Bank Holiday having a BBQ in the Garden with Spotify blasting out whilst you sip on some nice cold drinks, however with Snow scheduled for most of the North East this weekend it looks like a weekend inside. To stop the weather putting a downer on the weekend here’s What I’m Listening To!

What Im Listening To May

Jonas Blue – Fast Car

This song reminds me of being in America! If i’m feeling down in anyway and I hear this song, I feel a completely different aura come over me almost instantly. Every problem or thought on my mind just drifts away and I fall into a complete holiday trance. I really hope this song never grows old, because I honestly can’t get enough of it! The other option, is I go do another tour of America and find a new song to replace it this year ?

Light It Up – Major Lazer, Nyla & Fuse ODG

Yes it might be snowing outside even though it’s supposed to be May Bank Holiday but put this song on Spotify and you’ll think you’re in the middle of July in a heatwave. This has got to be one of the most up-beat tunes I’ve heard this year to get you in a summer mood. This song really needs to be appreciated in a car with the windows down and the sun beating down on your arm. I really can’t wait until we eventually get summer weather here in the UK and I can enjoy a nice drink in the sun with this playing in the background. Give it a listen you won’t regret it!

Zayn – Pillowtalk

Something a little bit different from the last two songs and more of a deep song rather than an up-beat summer tune. I think a secret Zayn Malik man-crush could have something to do with this in my top 3 bank holiday songs. It’s been taken so far as a bit of a love-hate marmite song possibly due to the controversial One Direction split. That’s in the past and people should just learn to accept his Musical talent, of which I believe he’s got plenty. Zayn has a raw R&B voice and he should stick to doing what he knows best.

That’s What I’m Listening To over the Bank Holiday, what about yourself?
